Pack 94 Event: Dessert Raffle

NOVEMBER PACK NIGHT:
Creative Dessert Raffle

Pack 94 will be hosting our first Dessert Raffle at the November 20th Pack Night!  All Cubs should bring a dessert (preferably homemade or, at least, home-decorated).  The boys should have a hand in baking and/or decorating the dessert with a parent.

At check-in on Pack Night, participating Cubs will receive a set raffle "tickets".  Desserts will be on display for everyone to view and will be judged by members of the Pack Committee.  Awards will be presented for the most creative entries.

Following the presentation of advancements and other Pack business, Scouts will have an opportunity to select the desserts they'd like to try and "win". While the desserts are "judged" and the raffle drawings are completed, light refreshments will be served and the boys will spend some time making holiday cards for US troops stationed overseas.

Before we leave for the evening, the dessert awards will be presented and the results of the raffle will be announced.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Creative Dessert Auction, please be sure to contact your Den Leader.  Also, check the Pack 94 News page and follow @NLPack94 on Twitter to get very latest details!

PLEASE NOTE:  The Dessert Raffle is not a fund raiser.  No money will be accepted during the event.  Our intention is that every family that brings a dessert will go home with a dessert.

Dessert Notes:

  • Any sort of baked dessert is acceptable, but decorated cakes tend to be a special favorite!
  • Make sure you bring a dessert that doesn't require refrigeration.
  • Bring your dessert on a sturdy disposable plate or container.  A square of cardboard covered in aluminum foil is an easy option.
